Egg Roll in A Bowl with Kelchner's Yum Yum Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • Kelchner's Yum Yum Dipping Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 12 oz coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 lb ground beef, chicken, or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (ground up)
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • wonton wrappers
  • oil
  • optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds

Directions

1. To create sauce, combine Kelchner's Yum Yum Dipping Sauce and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly.

2. Add coleslaw to medium sized bowl. Pour sauce over coleslaw.

3. In a skillet over medium heat, heat sesame oil. Add onion and cook until translucent (about 2 minutes). Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.

4. Add ground meat to skillet. Cook until meat is no longer pink.

5. Stir in ground ginger, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar. 

6. While meat continues to cook, brush wonton wrappers with oil and cut into thin slices. Bake at 350 degrees for a few minutes or until they are golden brown.

7. Add ground meat to a bowl. Top with coleslaw mix and crispy wonton strips. Drizzle extra Kelchner's Yum Yum Dipping Sauce over top and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
