Historical Tuna Salad Coneys

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound American cheese (1 cup cubed)
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 7-ounce can tuna, flaked
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
  • 2-3 tablespoons Kelchner's Horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped olives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped sweet pickle
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 6 coney buns

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

2. Combine all ingredients except buns. Mix lightly.

3. Split buns and fill each with spread.

4. Wrap buns in aluminum foil.

5. Bake in oven for about 30 minutes.

6. Serve hot and enjoy!
